The NYC Hospitality Alliance Impact Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting a thriving and sustainable independent restaurant and nightlife community across the five boroughs. The Impact Foundation’s initiatives complement the NYC Hospitality Alliance by focusing on workforce development, job placement, scholarships, and inclusion; emergency meals and food relief; community support; philanthropy; research; and more. |
THE PROBLEM
The hospitality industry has been suffering a major labor shortage, while too many New Yorkers lack resources to higher education in the culinary arts and hospitality management.
OUR IMPACT
The Workforce Development, Job Placement, Scholarships, and Inclusion Project
The Impact Foundation awards culinary school scholarships to remarkable young people to help cover school related costs that break down financial barriers so they can focus on growing and excelling in the culinary arts.
The Impact Foundation funds grants to high-quality hospitality industry educators who train, develop, and mentor New Yorkers for their first jobs in the restaurant industry and funds upskilling and career advancement programs that serve individuals already working in the hospitality sector.
The Impact Foundation’s scholarships and grants target support for disadvantaged and underserved New Yorkers with a focus on inclusion.

OUR IMPACT
The Food Relief And Emergency Meals Project
The Impact Foundation purchases meals from restaurants to support small businesses across the five boroughs and serves them to New Yorkers who are food insecure or displaced due to disaster. This fund also supports seasonal food donations like Thanksgiving Turkey Drives, Holiday Meals, and the like. We support other nonprofit initiatives and partner with existing organizations to amplify their impactful work in the field of food relief.
