If you missed it, the HBO Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver delivered a scathing segment about how food delivery apps like DoorDash, Grubhub (Seamless), and Uber are harming restaurants, workers, and consumers. It’s especially relevant to the NYC restaurant community since these companies have and continue to lobby and sue the City of New York to overturn laws governing the online delivery marketplace, so they can deregulate themselves and go back to the bad old days OF BIG DELIVERY’S UNCHECKED POWER.
