Final Outdoor Dining Details Released

Today, the NYC Department of Transportation adopted the final Dining Out NYC rule for the permanent outdoor dining program. These are all the details about the new program that everyone has been waiting for.

IMPORTANT: The Application Portal to apply for the permanent Dining Out NYC program will open in March 2024. 

In the meantime, the NYC Hospitality Alliance is working our team at Pesetsky & Bookman to conduct a full analysis of the adopted Rule and we’ll provide you details soon. We’ll also work with the City of New York on presentations for restaurants to learn all the details, so you can prepare to apply for the Dining Out NYC program and transition out of the pandemic-era Open Restaurants outdoor dining system.
