Complete this Survey and receive a 2022 Compensation and Benefits Report of New York City’s Restaurant Industry that we aim to release this summer! The NYC Hospitality Alliance, with assistance from the Nolan School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University, is conducting a compensation and benefits study of the NYC restaurant industry. The last time we published a similar report was in 2015, and much has changed since that time, including Covid-19’s impact on wage and salary rates and benefits offered to employees. This updated survey will collect data on the hourly wage and annual salary rates for some of the most common job classifications and type of benefits offered to employees at Limited-Service Restaurants (Counter Service), Casual, Full-Service Restaurants (including bars with food menus) and Fine-Dining Restaurants. We’re conducting this report in response to requests from members who seek compensation and benefits data to help them offer competitive compensation packages to attract and retain employees at the restaurants they operate in New York City.
